| Well this is all very interesting. The posted information is very interesting and possibly very dangerous in terms of the potential damage that "could" be done by an individual not knowing exactly what they are doing. I personally appreciate having this type of detail information at my disposal. I have all the tools readily available to me to make my own stuff. However, I will not do so because I do not have the time to put into doing it correctly. That is what most people pay for. I already own the JWT ecu and have also talked to AshZ and the guys @ Z1 directly. It is understandable that AshZ is trying to make a business out of his work. Keep in mind that intellectual property is very valuable and that is why companies go to great lengths to protect it. On the other hand free flowing information as was posted here absolutely drives improvement. If you don't believe it look at what happened to IBM with the PS2 vs the original PC. I know, I was there for the development of both those products. Bottom line is that with the release of this information by Devon the end user can now ask much more intellegent and informed questions and get a much better result for their money. They can also decide to try to do it themself and take the chance on having to spend a lot more cash to recover from a mistake. Ash does not have to worry because as I said most people will not speend the time to get into this themselves that is what we pay the AshZs of the world to do. I do take issue with posting private corrospondence without prior agreement. That seems very tacky to me but then that's my opinion. I would have said, "everybody please check out this site I have with some good information for you", then let the debate begin. It's called not disparaging one's competitors. That is a little diffrent here since supposedly one person is not selling and the other is... I am sure there is more to this than is out here for all of us to see so let's just move away from that and see if collectively we can do something good for all of this community.... For all you guys out there working on this sort of thing here is what "I" want in the product: I want it to get me great gas mileage when I'm not putting the pedal to the metal and to hall azz when I get on it. I'll pay a reasonable price but not an outrageous one. As I have said to countless Nissan Salesman each time I went in to look at possibly buying a new Z over the years "Well one thing is for sure either way I'll be leaving here in a 300zx Turbo - the question is do you want to make any money today or not" Have a great day folks....
